What it does
The Upload Plug-In lives inside the Hive platform - it is not a separate external application. A customer or colleague uploads a file, and the plugin builds one or more configurators in Hive CPQ with everything filled in. From there it is a normal Hive configuration: check it, adjust it, order it.
Properly support vendor and sector formats such as Groeneveld and Matrix, without manual re-typing.
Place large orders in one go - for example a list of AEN codes - instead of clicking each line by hand.
Hand customers a simple Excel template they fill in and upload to order - a familiar, low-friction flow.
How it works
It is a generic tool that supports multiple file formats and is extendable. The logic that decides how an uploaded file should be interpreted lives inside the configurator itself, so every product can read its own format.
